Po’Boys Kitchen bringing Bay Area touch to Southern style, homemade tastes that made with love (Yep! sometimes love means butter!). We value hard work and our guests` happiness. We would like to create the best tastes and memories that you take with your delicious food order!

It could not be a better time to start a new journey in the midst of a global pandemic in 2020! Po’Boys Kitchen opens its doors to serve family-style oriented, nicely seasoned, spicy, crispy delicious food! At Po’Boys Kitchen, we are hoping to be part of Potrero Hill to evolve, learn, teach, change, and improve altogether. With the exception of touching each other’s fries, touching each other’s lives, souls, while sharing a joyful moment.

Origin of Southern Cuisine

Southern food was born from a loud, explosive collision of culture. Different ingredients, both animal and plant, were thrust upon the Southern United States during the birth of our nation, shaping the regions culinary future, and defining the Southern states more so than any other part of the country. While the influences upon Southern cuisine are many, there are three major cultures to consider—Native American, West African, and European.
